His avocation, now, is playing our old pre-electric recordings and 'cleaning up' the pops, clicks, etc., to produce a more faithful reproduction of the original performance. He writes a column for one of the recorded-sound publications and has helped design and test equipment for these purposes. My 'find' was a book about the psychology and physics of beautiful sound-- just so very apt! I found it via a catalog entitled 'Bas Bleu' (Bluestocking) but for the life of me I can't come up with the title and author at this moment. <br /><br />We're currently poised waiting to rush to the central bathroom in the house in case one of the tornadoes does NOT miss us.
