When the phone rings at 5:30 a.m., it's never a good sign. Our back-fence neighbors (the wife/mother leaves for work at 5 a.m.) were calling to notify us that someone had broken the windows on our Saturn wagon.
Normally it's parked in the driveway, but we had our trailer hooked up (hauling flood-damage debris to the landfill) so this was a better place to park....or not.
We spent a hour (after it got light) sweeping up and vacuuming out the car.
The police report was made, and we'll be phoning the insurance company shortly. Bummer.
Oh, no! I am so sorry. Here's hoping that your luck improves.
ReplyDeleteAt least six other police reports were made--paintballs were used, which explains the weird orange substance in and on the car. The windows have been repaired, to the tune of $430 and change....
